Has anyone ever replaced their retractable lap/shoulder belt for a seat harness? I'm purchasing aftermarket buckets for my '75 and am curious where to attach a 4-point harness. The stock belt will not work with these seats. Thanks

most folks run a straight brace bar front one side to another behind the bucket seats and attach the harness to it...

    MarulMav,

Do you ever take this car to a dragstrip? Just asking, because if you do, you will have to replace that harness every two years! The 30 year old piece of crap factory belts are just fine to use, but once you switch to an aftermarket harness, they are only good for 48 months! :coco: :coco:

Sorry, it may not even affect you, it's just one of my pet peeves, and I like to fuss about it every time it rears its ugly head. :banghead:

If this is for a street car check with you local laws reguarding seat belts. In some states don't allow harneses for seat belts.
