I don't know if anyone else has this info but I bought some pages from a 1970-1974 factory wiring manual and it has the wiring diagram for the "yellow box" under the dash in '74 vehicles. I bypassed mine a while back by in a trial and error fashion probing the wires and finding which one went to the solenoid and which one came from the ignition switch. All I did was unhook the box, cut 2 wires from the connector and splice them together, and throw the box as far as I could. Looking at the diagram you can do the same thing under the hood at the override switch. Basically you connect the W-PK wire (white w/pink stripe) to the R-LB (red w/light blue stripe). I marked the possible modifications in red. Use at your own risk.
