I bought a shackle bushing set from Year One part # FJ362
I have included pic below which shows that the replacement is quite a bit larger and is not going in unless cut down. Any tips?
    Thanks
    Dan
ps it is for 1964-1973 mustang but was told this would work on Mavericks

I have a feeling that may be the front bushing not the rear ...

The Mustangs had larger rear bushings. I found this out about 12 years ago when I ordered Mustang polyurethanes to put in mine. They didn't have them for Mavericks yet then. I put them in a lathe and turned them down, but I don't think that will help with rubber bushings.

    To revive an old thread...
So the consensus is that a Mustang shackle kit (shackles/bolts/bushings) will work for a Mav if they're turned down a skosh?

Glad you resurrected this thread!!!!!! When I bought my 4 leafs from JCW, the rear spring eye was larger than stock. I used my old bushings and they worked, but they are too small. Now I know what I need. I had forgotten all about them until now. It could also explain why I had major wheel hop problems at the Roundup last year. Too much play in the bushings. I will have to pick up a new set at Carlisle.
