Save yourself the headaches and get new springs instead.

truth be said, im not sure i want to go through all of that. i thoght there was an after mkt item that one could buy to give the car just a little boost in the rear end. Air shocks are not an option for me as i can see the damage they caused the previous owner with a big rip in the floor board between the trunk and back seat. i just dont waant it to loook like the trunk is loaded down with grocery's.

I know what your looking for, its those longer shackles that they sell.
I'm not going to recommend them though because they dont fix anything. And actually end up giving you more problems.

Just buy some new springs from here for $109

or get some $40 econoline junkyard springs .

here is another possibility. I'm going to use these to lower my car as i have the opposite problem. (front is too high). I think new springs is the safest and best way to go though. These are from Autozone.

That kit will not work for you.

It lowers if the axle is on top of the springs like your car has

It only lifts when the axle is on top of the spring , like in some trucks.

it's the same thing for Pontiac, Chevy and Mopar.

Fixed it right the first time and it should give you plenty of trouble free years (y)
