Holy crap that's a nice Maverick. It's done just like I'd image it would have been done and it resembles a 68 in styling. I give that Shelby 4 out of 5 stars. It doesn't have a hipo engine though, it should have a 347 or at least a built to the hilt 302. I think it's been posted here before as well.

Yep, it's been posted before. I like it too...just needs a few things deleted. :)

Not my cup of tea...its a nice car but I wouldnt spend THAT much on it unless they took off those ugly quarter panel scoops and put better looking taillights on...lol

And yes I have to criticize almost everything, nothing good ever came from saying "its perfect in every way"

There's a lot there that I like, and a lot I don't like. I may have said all this last time this car got posted, but anyway... I'm not feeling the stickers, the headlights, bumpers, grille or side scoops. All that can be fixed though, and otherwise the car looks nicely done. Is it $25k worth of nice? I don't know, but it has potential. Scrape off some of that junk, put a nice stock or billet grille on it, and either chrome or argent silver bumpers... Rayzorsharp has proven to me that a nice "Shelby tribute" Maverick can be done, and this one isn't that far from it...

Point. Somebody should buy it, then post some of the "custom" stuff in the MMB classifieds, (I can think of one or two folks who might snatch that up...) then put the resulting money under the hood.

It really does deserve a souped up, scary engine and a T5. Dress the engine out in Shelby stuff, maybe even a Paxton, then 9" the rear end with 4:11s.

    I like it a lot.

If you give that one a 4 out of 5 what do you give Ray's car a 10 out of 5??

I think the car is OK but I think Ray did a helluvalot better job

Rays is nice too but isn't as Eleanored as this one is so I don't even think they are close. Rays is classic. I honestly like them both and think it sucks that there aren't more Shelbyized Mavericks and Comets out there. Ray also has those sweet louvers.
