Well, I could not sell the car for what I needed to get out of it so I have decided to keep it and get it running again. My latest investment has been in a set of Bogart D-6's with new rubber all the way around. The other two photos are of the motor partially mocked up and almost ready to have a new set of headers built (even though it is a street car, I am going to build a set of 1 7/8 headers for it, not 1 5/8). I cannot wait to get it running again.
frank, i think those braces are the same ones i've got on mine. there from mpg head in colorado. they advertise in the ford magazines and also have a web site. try http://www.mustangandfords.com/techarticles/127_0207_brace/ . you need to make a few adjustments to get it to fit a maverick, since it's actually for a mustang.
Fred, Get that Mav. finished so we can add another one to Sat. night Old Town Cruise or go to Speed World for alittle test drive. Several times I drove by the area you have your shop but I lost your business card with the address. Oh well, maybe we'll see you again at a cruise night or show. Ken
