What shocks are most guys and ( gals) using on street cars . I am talking cruzer cars. Running poly bushings with new 4 leaf springs, 1 inch lowering springs in front with roller spring perchs and a larger sway bar. All suggestions appreciated. Also does anybody have an update on the new headers being built for our cars I think Jamie 69.5 is handling this.:hmmm:

Everyone here pretty much seems to use KYB shocks. I'm going with some Gabriel shocks myself though and am still trying to find out which Monroe shocks fit these cars.

The headers have been completed for over a year now. Jamie has sold his Maverick and moved on.
I run Motorcraft shocks and KYB's on my cars.

I bought the KYB's when they still made them in the high pressure version (Gas-A-Just).

Unfortuantely, the rear sway bar dented the right side and the piston seazed within. I replaced it with a new KYB GR2 (low pressure).
(well, actually, I mounted the old left high pressure onto the right with a moroso shock extender to clear the bar and put the new low pressure on the left.)

I was thinking of ordering a early Mustang Gas-A-Just and welding on the round eye to it,...but I'm just too lazy.
