I almost bought a kit from summit this morning but it looks WAY too easy and not enough parts for a kit is this really all there is to it? theres got to be more parts than this right? no? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/huu-5671510
Thats just the plumbing for a line lock...You would still need to buy the solenoid/valve and switch...Not to mention the bracket to mount it to the car. You need to look up "Line lock kit" Tha will show you an actual line lock...
A "kit" for installing a line lock is only going to consist of brake lines & brass fittings to install the line lock solenoid into the main front brake line out of the master cylinder.
Here it is now, after the MII swap. I used more loops this time around for better flexing without potential breakage.
Try to make sure that all your brake lines run below the master cylinder height or you may run into a bleeding the brakes problem. There are a couple ways to plumb into the front brake line, one is right out of the master cylinder to the the line lock solenoid and hook up the front brake lines to the solenoid. Doing it this way may cause your brake light on the dash to come on when you use the line lock but it will go out after you let off the switch.
