Just got back from the show... Good times.... But man was it cold Here are some pic's......... The mustang hanging out with the mav's and comet's is mine....
Aah! .... a Stallion! Aah!.... I was drooling right on it! Aah! ... the drool FROZE! I passed on the websiteto the owner and hopefully he will be here soon ... nice car.
That stallion has been talked about here, it is the one a guy from beverly hills was gonna buy.. it's the one from Pa. they got it a month ago, and the young lady that owns it also has a black/silver stallion too.....
COLD ... the Yankee in us is long gone... just now thawing out some, the wife is still wrapped in a blanket. Great to see another big bumper, the Stallion... nice addition, hope they join the forum. Thinkin THREE pairs of socks tomorrow, TWO sets of long johns and a FULL FACE MASK! Looking forward to Lil's pics, but here's a crappy one of a tiny snowman created from the snow/sleet on cars as they came in this a.m. Can't wait for tomorrow, lol... great folks, good times. Rocky & Holly
Looking at all those Mavericks and Comets is such a tease, our cars are put away for the winter. I can hardly wait till our own Maverick / Comet meet in greet in May in Burlington. Oh Spring is so far away. Nice cars guys.
Hey Ken, thanks for posting some pictures. Unfortunately we were not able to make it, hopefully next year we will, we had previously been there the last 5 years in a row. I'll have to try and get a number of things done to my car before then. Looks like a good time was had by all, other than the bitter cold weather. Would be interested in some information on Chips new Comet powerplant etc... I realy like the looks of that white/black '73 Grabber as well.
Behind the yellow Maverick was the tent I set up with the propane heater. It was a very popular spot all day and the only warm place around. BRRRRRR!!!!!! I have been to many Silver Springs shows, but this was the coldest overall, in my opinion. Damn Global Warming!!! There are a couple of other threads Ken made that have pictures. Jim
Chip's comet has a rod and custom front end, with a world poducts 351W stroked out to a 427 fuel injected Beauty.... It's a very sweet ride..... I do not know who owns the 73 they didn't park with us... But a very nice Mav. there was a saying on the firewall that said "YES ITS FAST AND NO YOU CAN'T DRIVE IT"
I have to say that Chips parts c.......er, I mean Comet, was totally awesome. I love that car!!! I expect we'll be seeing that one in a magazine soon. Those Cameo guys do some great work. Oh yeah, in spite of the wee bit of snow we had it was still a good show. There was probably half the cars that didn't show up (bunch of wussies) but still a lot of fantastic machines!!! Already making plans for next year.
wheeeeeeee ooooooo well I'm finally thawed out enough to type! Hey it was more than great to see everbody again. Lot of talk about gettin together sometime soon also, hmm something in the spring maybe??!! Thanks also everyone for the support to Hottie, I think she's ready to get goin on the new project. She really misses being a part of the gang. Oh and thanks again Coutangman. Take care all .
