We are getting hammered with snow, Here in Cleveland,, How is the rest of you doing,, I will try and get some pics posted,, Good luck to all,, and stay warm,, we have 10" and expect another 6 to 8" by 6pm this evening,,,
I know you don't want to hear it, but it will be 80 degrees for a high and 60 for a low today. Sorry for the bad weather up there, but that is why I moved here from Louisville. I hate cold and nasty weather. Jim
Just saw Cincinnati and Ky. on the weather channel. Sure looks cold. Guess I won't cpmplain that it's only getting up in the 60's today. Good luck to you people in the cold and without power.
Still have power here, but 1/4" of ice on everything, which is probably what caused the huge tree limb to fall on my Escort this morning.
We got a combination of freezing rain, sleet and then 6" of snow since Monday evening. Lots of ice south of us. At least it isn't real cold, 16 right now high of 28 today expecting mid 40's this weekend. I might go fishing.
No snow. Just rain here. Highs in the 40's.... That's why I moved from Detroit. I hate the weather there....
Started snowing here last night and is predicted to keep on till wednesday next week. Looking at the dopler radar and it doesn't look good.
1" of ice covering everything. (at least) It's up to 24 deg. now. Not going anywhere. Schools and business are closed. Rather have snow, but all we get here is ice Rhonda
it actually got in to the high 30s last night. should reach the low 60s today. thats really cold for san diego. i feel for you all. all the local news can talk about is that we are in sever drout conditions, so if you guys want feel free to send us some of that water. hope every body is ok and keeping warm.
We got around 5 inches of snow last night, but now it has turned to freezing rain and sleet. I don't mind the snow all that much, but I hate it when it gets a layer of ice on top of it. I am worried about by brother down in Kentucky. He's at the farm he bought last summer trying to clear out all the brush and blackberry vines that are over running the place. There is no electricity to the place and the only building on the site is an old barn. He has his camper parked in the barn and that's were he is living while he gets the land cleaned up. He does have a 4 wheel drive truck with him, a generator and plenty of provisions. There is no way to contact him, even by cell phone. I know my brother is a professional outdoorsman who is quite capable of living off the land for months on end, but at 61 years old he is no spring chicken anymore. With all the ice and bad weather going on I can't help but be concerned.
