Well, I finally did it. I've had my 86 convertible since summer 96. We've been through a lot together. I dated my wife in that car, and went through college in it too. Reality sets in, and the Maverick still isn't getting done, and I'm losing money from this economy..so I'm broke. Finally set my priorities straight. My 66 mustang and my 72 maverick will get the full undivided attention now. Never thought this day would come. 2 grand from the 86 will go to paying off bills, while the other grand should be all I need to finish my mav resto finally. Just thought I'd share it with all you...the crazy mofo fly's down from Alabama in 2-3 weeks to drive it home 2k miles!!! Can you imagine 2000 miles in a 373 geared car with no noise insulation?? It should be memorable at the least. My 66 mustang is about literally to fire for the first time, so I can turn my attn to the maverick..this means you guys will see reg updates on the maverick. Can't wait!
