NO it's been closed for a while. Southwestern International Raceway is in Tucson now. SIR has been opened for 11 years now. Not sure when OLd Tucson closed down.
Ok I will share what I know. Tucson dragway closed in the early 80's I know it was before 86 because my dad never ran his rear engine dragster there but I don't know the exact year. If I had to guess I would say 84. The Incagnito car was owned by a local person who owns Don's Hot Rod Shop. The car was a chassis car and the chassis is now under his willy's street rod. I don't know what ever happened with the body but I think the stopped running that car in the late 70's or early 80's as my dad ran the front clip at one point on one of his mavericks. After the maverick they ran an altered that they still own called incagnito. Thats what I know from what I have been told but I am only 18 so this is all from before my time.
