    (impressed whistle)!

That looks really good. Any fitment problems with that setup? I've been looking at building a motor for one of those 174's from Weiand and have been a little hesitant. I couldn't really see your hood that well and was wondering if you had any clearance issues there. Also, I noticed you had a "pusher" set-up with your electric fan. Was that because of the pulleys somehow interferring with fan motor housing? Just curious.

    Seriously though, great job.

    Thanks,
    Eric

Yes they are a few fitment problems, You will need a cowl hood, and or hole. I have a griffin radiator that is thicker than stock, also the brackets put the radiator closer to the motor is the reason for the pusher. I did run a belt drove with the stock radiator. You need a good balancer. Other than that pretty strait foward. P.S. put you some rear tires in layway till you get used to driving it.

Most of the Mavericks diet consists of rice grinders and the colonels finest.

    Thanks for the pics.

The three gauges: It's difficult to tell, but it appears you have a solenoid in-line going to the oil pressure gauge (probably not, but it appears that way). If so, why?

I assume the other two are fuel and boost?

Looks great. 'Something to be very proud of. (y)

thanks for posting! at least i know i'm not the only one having clearance issues with fans and what not... though it looks like your running a stock rad hose... no way could i get a stock one to fit on mine.

funnything is i can't tell the differance between mine and yours? 144 and 174 and 177s look that much the same?

    HA!!!!!!!

lol... just kidding.... that's freakin awesome... good job.
I think i'll keep up with you with my 500 dollar NOS well for a few shots... you have it on tap all the time. I want a blower but I'm at 10 to 1 compression so i only use it part of the time... but you have bragging rights... blowers always make me tingle. ; )

MaverickMan..... soon as I get some more good paychecks I want your carbon hood.... yeeeeah.

    oh and her too...
