Spark Plug Question

    What is the difference between plugs for a 302 and a 200 I6 besides the spark gap. I guess my real question is when I go to Napa and tell them I need spark pluggs for my mav they don't know what kind I need. The guy at Napa said bring one of my old ones in.. Well whats the difference?

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    size is the same but stock v8s take a motorcraft 42 and the i6s take motorcraft 82.. i hope that helps.

    i don't think napa carries motorcraft though... but i'm sure they can cross referance to a autolight or something.

    hope you get the right plug! (y)

    [thinkin] is it me or do people just know about V8s round here :p

    They can't look it up in their computer? Go to Auto Zone, they sell Motorcraft.
