Will a guage cluster from a 76 comet work in my 73 ? quicker to ask here than run to work and look at it. LOL. Thanks.
I don't think so. I think they changed the size of the plug around 73 or 74, most likely 74, as many things changed that year. The big plug at the back changed in size and there were more little copper contact strips after the change.
Yep, what Scott said. You can make it work by switching the green (or white) plastic back piece from your cluster to the other. But if that's what's wrong with the cluster then you will need to find another '70-'73 cluster.
Wasn't really even thinking of the plugs, just the front. Thanks for the responses. Saved me 25 bucks.
