starter? head mufflers?

    So I have a 302 with a FMX tranny what kind of starter should i get, oh and will running head muffler just for like a month do any damage to the engine?

    i'd just tell them at the parts store what the motor and tranny came out of. or the tranny. what is a head muffler. i've never heard of it.
