For all of you that may not have heard, Wes Notovitz has been officially named the Maverick/Comet Club International Inc. State Rep. Coordinator.

What this means is, All state reps should report to Wes for any assistance or advice pertaining to the selection of mini-meet locations and the preperation of mini-meets.

It is my hope that we as a club can set some standards in how we organize every mini-meet. For example, we do several mini-meets in conjunction with Fun Ford Weekend. If we can set a standard with Bill Alexander, the President, as to what awards he can supply for a Maverick/Comet class and a designated parking area at each show, I think that would be a big step in the right direction. Of course then we can try to get our mini-meet in print in the Fun Ford flyers.

FYI, anyone can organize a mini-meet, not just state reps.

    Cool

    Congrats Wes
I think thats a great idea then we can have a set idea of whats going on at all FFWs.I have checked FFWs site and I see no classes in the car shows that the average Mav/ Comet would fit in. Maybe you could get this fixed and we could establish a good mini-meet -FFW relationship. If there is any way I can help let me know
    Later Tim

For those of you who haven't heard, The Washington State rep got married last saturday and will be back from his honeymoon late Sunday night (the 5th of Sept). I performed the ceremony at the VFW hall in West Seattle at three o'clock. We had some members present and a lot of friends and family. I am Coop's brother Paul and an ordained minister. I think it would be great to have him come back to everyone knowing and wishing him well - so get it done!
