I saw a tilt column on ebay and wondered if anyone knew of a compatible swap. I'm tall and it's a trick to get in ond out.
The column was from a 73-79 bronco but i have no mesurements and i dont want it under my chin.
I bought a three spoke sport wheel and like a dope i didn't ask if it had the horn option. It dosen't. Can I take my horn contact plate off my old wheel and do somthing or should I just get another one.
Someday I'm going to build a car out of these 'spare parts'.... I guess its a learning curve.

thats what i did on the one that i have in my car. it was a little tricky though. it does require a little bit of welding, and a lot of time.

I found a Granada tilt column that I am going to try to install in my car.
    Should be very close.
If not bolt in, it should be an easy hybrid IMO.

I don't know for sure though.
Wish I had a solid answer for you.

    Edit:
Btw, I would steer clear of a truck part.
Look for something close to a Maverick, like Granada/Monarch.
    I think Fan used a T-bird column.
That is a distant relative to the Mav, and that may be why it took more work and fabricating.

Thanks guys I put i stick in do you know how to by pass the neutral safety switch so if my tree shifter slips i can re start the car. I took down the column but the most i could find was the back up lights.
