Built in Canada? Were the US flagged versions built in Canada and shipped over? I think that there was a Canadian Sprint??? Seth
You're correct about the Canadian Sprints Seth. They had a maple leaf decal. Instead of the American flag.
Looks like a great car to start out with! The car is a US car like Dan said. It was just built at the St. Thomas plant in Canada. The second letter in the VIN specifies the plant it was built at. Mavericks were built at 4 different plants, Kansas City (VIN code K), St. Thomas (Canada, VIN code X), Wayne Michigan (VIN code W) and Dearborn Michigan (VIN code F). The Dearborn "F" VIN code is not to be confused with the other F VIN code that signifies a factory 302. The engine VIN code is the fifth letter. The Kansas City and St. Thomas cars seem to be the most common, with Dearborn cars being the fewest.
