    72 maverick,99 cherokee,2000 cherokee.80 suzuki ts 250 and a minivan
    I am new to this forum have a 72 2dr v8 man drum brakes,pwr strg, a/c mav.
    the pwr strg pump is shot the power valve is leaking and sloppy,the pitman arm is wore out tie rods need replacing . I have heard of converting over to manual strg.seen the adapter sleeve,would i need or was there 2 different gearboxes or just the power adder valve, do i need the different box? also what does anyone know about scarebird disc conversion brackets and instructions anyone use it ?any good? enough rant for now would appreciate some input .which club is better or join both?

    You would be better off replacing all the steering parts with new manual steering parts. New pitman arm, new drag link, new tie rod ends. All these parts are available new from Autozone and Advance Auto (Autozone is usually cheaper) Vendor that makes these parts is "Rare Parts" It's not going to be cheap, but you'll only have to do it once. You can keep the power steering gear box with it, the only difference was the gear ratio.
