I was wondering what options for Ford owners are out there for blower/superchargers?? Are there any at all for a 408?? I can't seem to find any. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!! Preston
Check out the setup from Paxton. http://www.paxtonauto.com/systems.asp?Action=GetRecord&ID=10 There was a yellow Maverick at the roundup last year (Tony Hahn I think) that had this setup I have also seen pictures of it on a red one.
summit sells paxton, vortech, and powerdyne superchargers. also weiand blowers. they don't list everything they carry in their catalog. you could call them and ask what they have available. their number is 1-800-230-3030.
lots of stuff out there,...all in what you want centrifical superchargers- paxton, vortec, powerdyne, another few cant recall right now. roots type- Hampton, Kuhl, Mooneyham,BDS,Gibson,Littlefield,..again a few more I cant recall
So which would be best In Y'all's opinion for a 408 on the street?? Say one starting with an 8 -8.5:1 compression ratio. Thanks, Preston
At first I wanted to hide it, but the more that I think about it, I think I'm gonna stick it through the hood. It would seem to clear a path now wouldn't it? Preston
