Want to exchange out the standard grill in a 76, to a Grabber grill with the driving lamps. The 76 has no turn signal lamps in the valance, so would want to turn the sport lamps into signal lamps and have the look.
The swap in of the early Grabber grill should be a straight forward affair.
Any tips of information that I should know, before proceeding would be appreciated.

    Thanks....Doug :Handshake

The grille you have should be mostly what you need if it is in good shape. the sport lamps have the same mount setup as the later blinkers. 73-4 mavs had the same metal cross over the lens, not sure about 76. the lens is clear instead of amber, and the back half of the grabber light assembly just has a different plug for single on off instead of a blinker/running light. if you convert you will just need the 70-72 under bumper blinkers with their hanging assembly and you can run the power plugs from your current set down there instead. then install a fog lamp style switch and relay from any junkyard car\truck with fog lamps and run the wires out. you can also just get the fog lamp wire kits at auto parts places in the electrical area.
