Hey thank you guys very much for all the help on my last question. Now I have made the deal and the car is mine (1971 grabber 6 cyl 4 lug) and I want to change out the 6cyl for a 302. I just bought a 1976 302 maverick with front disc brakes and power steering to strip out and get all the parts I need to get the 71 repowered with the 302 and power steering and front disc brakes and put in a four speed instead of the three speed. Any help with these swaps would be great.
    Thanks Bryan

his articles is GREAT! the only confusion i had was getting the ball joints from the spindles. the solution was to use a real big hammer! may sound kinda dumb but when you get to that point, you'll know what i mean. also, i found that knocking out the bottom ball joint first is better. good luck!

    yea

Yea, the disc swap is really quik. The second time only took us like a half hour I think. and like my dad said, knock the bottom one out first. its also easier to handle if you take everything off of the spindle first!
