Temp Gauge on my I6

    Can anyone help me with this question? I have a 200 I6 in the maverick I just purchased. I bought a temp gauge to install but I am not for sure where the stock temp sensor is can someone point me in the right direction?

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    on the rear of the block driver side right behind the stock mount for the coil. i think :D

    I think Derrick is thinking about the Oil Pressure Gauge. The temp gauge goes on the back drivers side of the head. It sticks out at an angle.

    my bad.. sniffing too much anti freeze or maybe it was oil! oil / water same stuff. :D

    it depends if you have a v8 or I6 as far as where it goes, either way it shouldnt be any harder on any engine

    you'll want to drain some water out of the radiator and then remove the sensor from the back drivers side of the head, as mentioned in the quote above. once its out replace it with the sensor supplied in your gauge kit and wire it up according to the directions
