Since Doug (DAB) and Dennis (Mavaholic) all went and bought Maverick's last week...I had to join in. Plus, I will definitley have a car at the Round-Up Nationals!! Stats: 1972 Maverick, 250- 6-cyl, AT with factory floor shift, factory high back bucket seats, ice cold factory air conditioning, power steering, 94,000 actual miles. I won't become to attached to it....probably sell it after the Round-Up.....who knows.
Very Nice! Congrats! It looks like you found yourself a clean little car! I would have bought that one also! Preston
Nice car! I bet you didn't have to drive 850-2900 miles to get your Maverick, either! lol (So I guess this means you don't want my blue 4-door, now)? lol
?? I'll give you a solid 72 four door a 1970 Two door and a 75 two door wit a 302 for that car!!!! Not really, I love my mavs!
I have 3 Mavericks "here" right now. Orange 72 Grabber still waiting to be put back together. Blue 71 parts car for the orange 72, and now this yellow 72. "Legally" I still own several parts cars that are in the junkyard. Just took a 72 Comet to the junkyard Saturday. Hey Doug.....drove about 45 miles to get it. I still might want the 4-door.....don't have one of those in my collection!! Here is the 72 Comet I took to the junkyard (I bought it out of the junkyard about 3 weeks ago.....very rough....had a few good parts........didn't feel like crawling all over the ground to get at them.....brought it home and stripped it with air tools!!!!!)
Nice find Craig,, should be easy to sell after the roundup. Probably to a MCCI member who really needs another Mav, but just cant find the time to go and actually look at any,,, dang, if I bring another car home I will be sleeping in one of them. Dan
Hey Craig, old buddy, fellow hoosier. That sure would make a nice replacement for my yellow 71 that i lost in my house fire!!!!!!!My son's taking drivers ed this summer, and the maverick was supposed to be his first car.Remember, you never forget your FIRST car!I want first dibs on that baby..........
