The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Tomorrow I start parting out the maverick, I just don't have any motivation at all to rebuild it.

Not to mention funds, I picked up a new hobby that surprisingly costs more than car building.

The real nail in the coffin is that I'm moving into a new place where I absolutely wont have room for it and I don't want to burden anyone I know with storing it for me.

I got the car during the summer when I was 14, exactly 10 years ago.

Have lots of good memories in it! but also terrible ones :D
I swear this car has more bad luck than anything!

I'll pick up another maybe 10-20 years down the road, will still pop up once in a while in here.(I'm really behind on PMs so sorry to everyone whose messaged me).

Thank you everyone for all the help along the way, when I joined the forum I knew absolutely nothing about cars. I still don't know a lot, but enough to get me into trouble :)

I am in the same boat. My car is 80% done, but lost motivation and time...

    Plenty of space.

I am considering also parting it out as no one wants to pay near what I have into the car.

If i sell it whole I'd get $4-800 at the most, if I part it out I can get twice that.

I already regretted it but I just cant keep it, Like I have no room at the place I'm moving to.

yeah unfortunately these cars don't demand the high price of other cars!
My neighbor just sold his Torino for 5K which was in the same state, and a base model at that.

    will do! (y)

Call me General Obvious, but if the economy was booming, it wouldn't be a problem for people to select and stock their toys - at the asking prices.

Right now, needs are critical - forget about wants...

I forgot to mention my car is basic base model, if it was a 71/72 grabber then it would be a different story. They sell really well out here, while base models go for next to nothing.

I swear I'm being so lazy to list stuff up, I'm still hoping a miracle happens and I get to keep it. But I really need it gone ASAP.
