Am going through some unforeseen financial circumstances and have to look into selling my Mav. :cry:But there is no way i'm gonna sell it to someone who does not no what a classic car is all about!!!! The wife even knows how much time, effort and $$$ has been put in to this baby. Just pisses me off on how much some guys don't know about cars when buying one. Needless to say, it's still with me, hard to let it go.

I know exactly how you feel. I had to sell one of my Mavericks for the same reason. :( I did'nt get anywhere near what I was hoping to get for the car, but at least now we can afford to heat our house this winter. I've never seen things so bad around this area before. I have a bad feeling there will be some elderly folks freezing to death this winter because they can't afford to heat thier homes. That is just criminal.
One word of advice: be careful of who you sell to. As I found out, there are a lot of people out there who are more than willing to try to take advantage of those of us who have to sell our cars because of financial hardships. They don't care how much you have invested in the car. They want something for nothing and try anything to chip away at your asking price.
