it breaks my heart but the bills keep piling and i think i am going to have to sell my comet. Do you guys think i would get more out of it on ebay or is it not worth the hassle? Its a 1971, 302 3spd on the floor. pretty much all stock. Do you guys think i could manage to pull $2500 out of it. I know it is high hopes but i have to at least get decent money for it if i am going to sell it. It runs good has some minor issues but nothing major. Has rust in the hood lip and a small hole in the drivers quarter. underneath is pretty much rust fee. If i sell it i will be kicking myself for while i am sure but the wife will be superpo'd if they repossess her car but like i said i will just sit on it before i let it go to cheap.

    Sorry to hear . . .

It's a good looking ride, reminds me a lot of my 74' Comet GT. I would think you should be able to get what you are asking if there is nothing else wrong with it. I hope you do not have to sell it! Good luck either way!

I noticed your work truck in the background, We work for the same company, well, sorta, I'm a contractor. If your commission like me don't forget college season is coming and that is when the bucks roll in. Selling a fine car like that and you will have regrets, but you have to do what you have to do.

Rudy D, i am a contractor to but am looking to get out of it which is mainly why it has to go. It is pretty busy around here and the money is good. I am tired of working all the time and with 2 kids and my wife not working money is tight and getting tighter. The final decsion hasn't been made. I am trying to keep it but we'll have to see how it goes.

Me and my son fell in love with that perfect sprint.I sure would like to know where you lost that 1 point that cost you a perfect score at the show.was it something about a bug crawling across your hood?lmno.
