    75 maverick, 2006 jaguar x type, 2004 ford f-150 super cab,
    I have a 50 oz crank in a 1980 block. a cam,lifters,pushrods out of a 28 oz engine, distrib. from 28oz water pump of 50oz. Will this engine run with those components?

    Of course as along as I use a 500oz flywheel it should bolt to a c-4 I-6 250 tranny. Yes?

    thats right. get a 50oz flex plate for a c4 trans. they were never offered from the factory but are aviable from the afermarket

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Make sure you have a 50 OZ harmonic balancer as well...not a 28 OZ.

    Mavman, the balancer bolt on was a success! I was fortunate to have both a 28oz and a 50 oz balancer here so I was able to know for sure I got the 50 on. I do have both flex plates but that bridge will get crossed after the front end is good. just need to solve pulley probs. Thanks!

    Actually they were, but only in the 164 tooth flexplates.
