Hey guys, I've been lurking in the shadows on this site for some time, getting ideas and such and thinking about picking up a Mav for the step-daughter's first car. Missed out on a great one 3 weeks ago for $600  . Anyway, lately evertime I try to view attached pictures I get a warning that I'm not allowed to edit other peoples posts  . What's up?

mavericks are getting more popular and with that the cost is going up. if you find a good maverick and the price is right you need to jump on it. hope you find one soon. many years ago i lived in montclair until i was 19 and went into the service. welcome to the board also.:)

I think that because the site was approachin it's alotted monthy bandwith, that feature (viewing attachments) was temporarily turned off.

Good luck in finding the right Maverick/Comet.

Welcome to the board. There are still good Mavericks out there for sale at a decent price. Just keep your eyes open and you least expect it, one will show up.:)

The part that kills me the most is I was trading my 62 Falcon passeneger van and $150 for the car. It had two, yes two rust spots on the entire car  . ONly 67,xxx miles on the engine, new brakes all around, new water pump, & m.c. The only thing it really needed was interior work. Should've given him a deposit but he said he'd hold it until the following night when I came by in the van. Its amazing what happens when people are handed cash (the guy that showed up after me) :slap: .

    Rick, thanks for the info.

Todd, where you at in Jersey? I originally/still love my Mustangs and Falcons, but have always liked Mavs. There are plenty of classic car people in the state, its just too damn cold sometimes to find them:D
