    Robert-
Thanks for posting these. Let me know if you or anyone that you know would be willing to host a MCCI Mini-Meet at one of these events.
I can add it to the MCCI site if someone wants to host a meet.

    Thanks,

I was kinda thinking about that for the mustang and ford show.
I can count about 3-4 people that hang on here that are within 1 hour
    of this location.

the rod run is a free for all....it is like spring break, and a pain to find a place to park even a single car. I go to each run and sometimes the shades of the past, this is the one to goto if you are looking for custom
parts and accessories. Most cars are 1960 and earlier.
Me and wardf and his family got together for lunch last fall. was short but
    good meet.
I think the ford show would be the best to have a mini-meet.

I'll see if I can get with the ford guys and see if we can set up a mini-meet.
Can I get a head count of those that might what to do it. Got a maverick or comet lets show the mustang guys their cousin.

I would be interested in the all ford show.

I say go for it. Close to a lot of the Georgia Gang as well.

Find out details and see if it will work.

I'll come to the Ford Show. Driving the Maverick up through the Smokey's would be cool.

Robert: I live about 1 hour from Pigeon Forge and go to every show. Not many Mavericks or Comets there. I hope to have my car ready for some of the shows this year.

I didn't get to go to last years show but I went in 2005. there was 15-20 other fords including 1 maverick. I would say that there were between 50
and 100 cars in and out of the show....this isn't a large show that you
would normally goto just so you know...

I emailed the guy about the show last night...haven't gotten anything back yet. Asked him about if we could hold a club(both) mini-meet at the show. Will be getting details together over the next couple of weeks.
It is held at a hotel so I will check the rates/discounts.....They may already have one set for the mustang club...but its is a tourist trap so there are hotels and cabins everywhere.

I think I'd rather go on a weekend when there is not another major car show going on...it would be great to have a nice showing of Comets and Mavs...
hmmmm...we could John and Pinky to create a diversion on one end of the strip and me and Stephen could do some light to light racing on the other...:burnout:
