Well,it's been almost 18 months since i lost my Tweety(71 yellow mav)in my home explosion. Its been a long recovery, but i think I'm ready to jump back into the Maverick Addicts Club.Things sure have changed in the forum since last visiting in august of 01.Looks like the club has grown tremendously. Now,just to convince my 15 yr old son his first car needs to be a maverick!:D

easy enough to convince him. you just buy an old mav shell, and pick up a 302, and start building a beast, he'll start salivating, I promise.

Glad to here your back and OK. Get another car and get to work. You have less than 6 months to get it done. And stay away from those "flame jobs"

    one slight reminder

if he does turn from the dark side of not wanting a maverick..
dont get hime one and then think about even giving him the hint that you might not put a 302 or even a 351 in it!!!
my mom tried to convince my dad that i shouldnt have a v8 and i was like thats ok you can keep it then
i did NOT like the idea of a six in my mav
so as long as you put an 8 in it you should be clean definatly wave the 302 in his face he'll accept the mav with open arms
