Caltrac traction bars have a single hole or two hole option. Any ideas on which is best?

    Thanks, Joe

I have the double hole and have mine set in the lower hole. CalTracs suggests in their baseline adjustment instructions to place the transfer link in whichever hole makes it most parallel to the ground. Then experiment with both adjustment positions. Therefore, it depends on your cars geometry as to which position works best.

What I am saying is if you have only one adjustment hole you only have one option the try and achieve maximum effectiveness.

Thank you for the information. I came across Caltrac traction bars on our Forum while getting info on Mav coil springs and ride height. Right now my car has 200 Cu in coil springs and sits very low in the front. I have a new set of V8 springs waiting to be install and I'm thinking cutting a half of a coil off of them. The new springs look very tall sitting on the floor! Oh I have a 302 in the Maverick now. Thanks again for your help! It sure is great having a place to get help.

    Joe
