I'm experiencing some turn signal issues after I started restoring my 73 Ford Maverick. I'm not sure what went wrong but I have no turn signal whatsoever. I've replaced the turn signal flasher and fuses and light bulbs in the rear of the car. But still nothing. Please advice what to check or do next.

Your issue possibly in the steering column! I have not had any experience w/ this problem, but, many here can assist w/ your issue. Good Luck!

Check your hazard switch and make sure it's in the off position. If the hazard flasher is bad and the switch is on it will cause all kinds of weird things to happen.

If flasher, fuse and bulbs are OK, problem is likely in column.

It's common for the feed from flasher(blue wire) to break inside the insulation at pivot point. Won't be obvious but wire will easily pull apart if that's the issue, can be repaired by splicing a length of wire at break. Will require lifting switch partly out of column. If green wire breaks the brake lights are out.

To verify use test light, if there is power at blinker but not at rivet on switch, wire is broken.
