O.k. have a problem that keeps popping up, last year our mechanic replaced a couple of turn signal switches (bulb sockets), and the fuse. The same fuse has kicked out twice, a couple of weeks ago, my friend and I put in a set of auto meter guages, and this week the car got her new clutch, every thing was fine until today I took the E-brake off and the volt guage went to 10 and did'nt move no turn signals and no radio, any suggestions on where to look for this problem as you guy's know replacing the fuses is not fun with the clutch in the way. P.S everything else is working, brake lights headlights. Thanks Marty:mad:

Marty, first thing is to make sure the fuse that is blowing is the right amp rating. The deal with your park brake being released and your volt gauge reading is a sign that maybe a wire was interferring with the park brake. You stated you installed some gauges, I would trace all the wiring in that area to make sure that none of it has become bare, frayed, or broken. Just another safety tip, remove your negative battery terminal while doing any of this kind of work.

    The never ending story

you'll find the E pedal is near the fuse box and the plugin for the firewall connection. Probably some old wires rubbing on the firewall in that area.
