    Hello everybody!
I was looking up on eBay the other day a universal wiring kit with a certain amount of circuits that allow you to use different types of things on you car. Has anybody used these and if so, how did it work out and how hard is it to install? The wiring on my car is pretty bad and something needs to be done before it catches on fire or something . Any feedback is greatly greatly appreciated (y)

the under the hood wiring is fairly easy for the original harness. it just takes time and patients to trace down every wire from end to end.
I thought about buying one of those painless kits but knew there had to be a cheaper way so we fixed my original harness

Painless it the most expensive company to buy from. They sell a $5 relay for $15

I have installed a few and if you know wiring they aren't bad. It also helps to have the dash out. Just remember, universal means it will not plug in directly to many key areas. it will most likely use a GM style connector at the turn signal switch and will not have a connector that will plug into the instrument panel or ignition switch.

my shop just became a distributor for ron francis wiring and i have to say they make a great product.
you will have to put the correct ends on for the lights and other stuff. they do put the correct plugs on for the steering column which makes it very easy to do the rest of the install.
