Hello, Since I have noise in the front, I guess it's coming from the upper arm, I wanted to grease them but there is no room (even no grease fittings on the left side). The best should be to remove the arms and do some maintenance, what I plan to doin the next weeks). But I saw on the left side that one piece was untight, and after a week, yesterday I saw that again it was untight. There are also no grease fittings even no plugs so grease is gone and dust go inside. I order a tool (OEMTOOLS 27035 Coil Spring Compressor) to remove the arms . Why this piece could move by itself? I mean how it's possible I found that untight? Thanks, Manu
The upper control arm bearing caps are threaded into arm, supposedly tighten to 150Ft lb or so... I've heard of replacement bearing caps not tightening properly, apparently that's happened in this case... With the cap loose it's no doubt beating the threads out of arm, would be best to replace complete arm assembly...
