Vacuum lines

    What Vacuum lines on my 75 250 can I trash? they are kinda just in the way. And do I have to keep the PCV lines to the carb? Thanks

    You need the vacuum line going to the distributor's vacuum advance from the carburetor. Also vacuum line going to the transmission if it's an automatic. If you have AC then you need to keep the vacuum line going to the AC vacuum canister. Yeah...keep the PCV vacuum hose.

    If you have state emissions testing, the vac lines are probably going to be necessary to pass a visual...

    PCV is a good device, for a street engine should never be disconnected...
