    I am buying parts for my motor build but need to know. Can you run taller valve covers on these cars with a 302 or do I need to buy stock hight chingers?

    you can. Several companies make them. But you don't need to.:)

    You can run the tall valve covers then? And I know I dont need to. I just like them

    the only real reasons to have tall VCs is to clear roller rockers and rocker girdles

    i had to change the brake boost from 9" to a 7" to get the taller one on.

    If you are considering late model factory fuel injection on a 302 you might have problems with tall covers.
