Putting new door weatherstrip on after a complete repaint...can anyone tell me where the end with the metal goes...back end of the door or front.

 Bummer that there is not a reply to this yet, because I was wondering the same thing.
Door seals are not tagged "driver side front" and "passenger side front" like the roof rails are. One end of the door seal has a metal hole and the other end is rubber. Which one should be towards the front of the car?

Metal goes to the front of the doors.
