you can get them from Craig and others on this board if they have any. Also, there is universal shrouds they sell on summit and jegs that do a decent job.

I never used them, never had any....lol...all they do is direct the air directly into the fan so it blows directly back on the motor instead of anywhere it wants to go...I guess it would help if youre running a car thats known to get hot, but for everyday cars I dont see a need for them.

I like working around a fan that will lop a finger off without you even knowing until you need it :rofl2:

Im not sure what others do abt a shroud. I personally wud not run my car w/o one if just from a safety standpoint. It's possible to loose more than a finger; just a split second loss of concentration cud result in serious injury. I also believe it provides better cooling when in hot wx, slow moving traffic. I don't have any scientific data to support that theory, it's JMO. So, for me it's a shroud of somekind, universal, boneyard, swapmeet, aftermarket or homebrew. JMO

it's made so the fan is forced to pull all the air through the radiator. without it the fan can get air from the back side of the radiator (least resistance) and that air doesn't do any cooling....:yup:

My car runs and cools 110% better with one. No question about it. I broke my old crumbling crappy one shortly after I got the car and ran without it for a while and it overheated after a while in traffic. I cut down a Ranchero shroud and rigged it to fit and now my car runs a lot better.

If it wasn't needed, they wouldn't put them on. Like Frank said..
