I got the gauges mounted in the car, I still need to wire them all up but I think they look really good in there. Kinda like they are supposed to be there.

Sorry the pics didn't come out all that great, I must have taken 20 and none of them seemed to focus really well. Plus the lighting in my garage sucks, Just ask Dave

160............I don't think it will ever get that high :D:D. Those are Stewart Warner Gauges. I don't know what it is about them but their name just called to me...

Well I was going to start pulling some wires when I got out the instuctions, and I noticed that the gauge that I have is not included in those instructions. I don't understand why they would send instructions that don't even cover what is in the box... It shows a singal wire and a battery wire in the diagram and also a switch to set it to what you are running it in. v6, v8 exsetera. But on the back of the gauge it only has a Pos. and a Neg. So I am not sure how it will wire. Does the Neg go to the Neg side of the coil and the Pos go to a battery feed and of course I know this will need a ground but I can get that off of one of the mounting bolts. Why can't they just make things simple... rrrrrr.

    gauges

    Squeal1,

The gauges look real good. Could you tell me what model # the gauges are and what it took to get them to fit. I like the way the tach looks like it was factory. I want to do this to mine, never liked the tach being mounted on steering columns. Keep us posted on your progress.

    Thanks
    Allen Small

I just mounted them to a piece of sheet metal.. Actually it was a YEILD sign that was in my garage when I bought my house, then I took the panel off the back that has the curcuit board, and mounted my piece of sheet metal to the cluster. It really wasn't all that hard, I think the wiring is going to be more difficult :D

Here is a link to those gauges Allen. To buy what I bought will cost you about $500. That was mechanical gauges, speedo, tack, fuel gauge, volts, oil pressure, and water temp.Stewart Warner

    Thanks guys
