so I am thinking about selling my maverick project and I'm looking for you guys to give me a realistic number you think I could get for it.
it is a 71 ford maverick
original straight 6 with freshly rebuilt head
    original trans
    runs great
mustang unlimited headers with 2.5" exhaust
mustang bucket seats and the rest of the interior is stock
sanded and all body work is done and primed for paint
    floors in great shape
stock four lug drums all around

i know pictures would help but all of the things listed have not been finished yet but will be. Just looking to get an idea what i will be able to get out of it

    thanks, Jakob

Without pictures I would say $500.

Im usually lower than craig but the body work counts for a bit so I think craig is right on with his opinion
I have bought 10 mavs and comets for under $500 so that will give you an idea as to what the value is like on cars that arent SUPER CLEAN ORIGINAL or that are DONE UP and even the ones that are done up dont fetch much.

you could put $50k in the car and be lLUCKY to get $20K

    good luck with the sale
consider all of the body work youve done to the car as practice or a learning experience depending on your skill level

Body work done in Illinois is a little different than body work done in California as well. If not painted and sealed up/painted right away....one would just have to start over.
