    1972 four door 302
    1972 302 three speed manual with a 2.79 rear end. How fast is the motor turnin in third gear at like sixty? Or seventy? or fifty? Just currious since i have no tach..

    2258 @ 60 mph. 185/75/14 is 25 inches tall. Multiply that times Pi (3.1416) to get circumference. Divide the circumference into 63,360 (inches in one mile) to get tire revolutions per mile. Multiply that times the gear ratio. This sum is what the revs are at 60 mph. For other speeds use this as a baseline.90 mph would be 2258 X 1.5----120 mph revs would be 2258 X 2.
