These were in my 73 and I'm trying to find out if they're the originals or what year they're out of. All are in decent condition and complete. Here's some pics:

Front seats are maybe late 80's T-Bird

    Those fronts are nice seats!
If they fit decent, I would recover and keep using.

I look at them and see GM seats one time, then on second look see FoMoCo characteristics.

About all I can say for sure is they are surely mid to late 1980s.

Hey, the vinyl on the bottom is white with what appears to be black overspray.
I wonder if they were white and someone spray dyed them black?

I was thinking after my last post that pure black was a very rare color for either Ford or GM since the 1980s. Shades of gray and tan, with some very subdued maroon and blue tones now and again, has been the rule since the late 70s. Even white leather is probably more common in this time frame than true black.

I can picture that seat, in white leather, in a Fox body T-bird, Cougar, or Stang...
    So I believe I agree with maverick1970.

eBay is a wonderful resource for researching these things!

The top of the back set looks like the one in my 73 & 74 grabber, the bottom is older Maverick/Comet

I'm going to do some more looking around. Did the mid 80's fox body's have a hump that made the seat mounts uneven? That's why they're leaning to the outside on level ground. You can't really tell from the pics but the seat tracks are at different heights.

The tracks on your seats look like Mav tracks to me.
They aren't Fox tracks by all the pics of those seats on the bay.
The seats on ebay have totally different tracks. They are the same seats though.

    Edit:
Looking again, I don't know if they're Mav tracks, but they are different than the ones in auction pics.

I agree with Ratio in that they look very similar to the '89 Mustang Gt seats in my basement scheduled to go into my daughter's Ranger.
