What should i keep

    hey guys i'm about to start doing the v-8 swap and t-5 swap as well.:yahoo: So i bought a 83 capri with a 302 and a t-5. And i want to know what is there anything else that i should keep other than the engine, bell housing and tranny.

    Well you can sell the body as a roller. Out here they sell for around 800-1000, drag guys love them.

    Those bellhousings use a pull style cable clutch set up as opposed to the older style z-bar....You can keep the whole pedal set up from the Mustang and adapt it to the Maverick with some work or convert it to either a hydraulic slave cylinder or a hydraulic throw out bearing....I'm doing the same swap soon and am going with the hydraulic pull type slave cyl.

    thanks it will be blast. And i'm gonna go hydraulic also. It is going to be well worth the hard work.
