Wheel and tire confusion.

    1970 Ford Maverick
    I have 14 inch wheels with 195/ 70 14's on them. I would like to know if there is a beefy-er tire to fit these wimpy little wheels. are there adapters and/or spacers available to upgrade to 15 inch wheels? The more i look around and read different measurements and conversion charts and diagrams, the more confused and lost I become.:cry::hmmm::hmmm::hmmm:
