Does nayone know if any other wheel cylinders will work on the back of a 71 maverick. My wheel cylinder is leaking and all the part stores around here have to special order them

it is on a 71 with 9" brakes

    Thanks

Seems most parts on these cars do need to be special ordered. But good post and might help people get needed parts quicker.

I would think that some other models would interchange but I'm not sure which. You could always buy a kit and rebuild your own but you need a brake cylinder hone to do it properly. They are very easy to rebuild.

I just did the rear brakes on my 71 with 9" brakes but I was able to find the correct wheel cylinders at Auto Zone. It took three tries for them to find the right ones, though. Sorry, I don't know of any others that will work.
