I am going to put some new wheels and tires on my '75 Comet. I would like to know what size tires you have! and if they rub or cause any other problems.

Dose anybody run 15" wheels on their Maverick or Comet.

If you have Torq Thrust D's I would like to see a picture. I am also thinking about Weld drag stars

I have 15X7 Torq Thrust Ds on my Maverick. I have 225 60 15s on it. I lower the front a little, so I can't really fit a wider or bigger tire on there without it rubbing. I could put bigger in the back, but then I would lose the ability to rotate them. Here is an old picture , but now that the car is painted it looks really nice with the wheels. Hope this helps you. Where in California are you?

I am running 215/70/15 front and 275/60/15 with rear leafs rearched 1 1/2 inches over stock and that combo seem to work great on my car.

Corbin, I like your D's I was wondering if a 225 would rub in the front. I am unsure if I will have the same size or a larger tire in the rear...I like the look of fat rear tires. I usually smoke the tires before I can rotate them.

    I am in San Jose

On my car the 225s don't scrape in the front, but they are very close to the front on the driver's side when I turn all the way to the left. Hope this helps ya out. The Ds are a very nice wheel.

I would like to use 225's or 215's on 7" rims in the front maybe even 205/65-15's for the front and use 225's or 235's for the rear on 8" rims. I will post some pictures of my new wheels in a few days they came from a '72 ford.

I am running 215/70/15's on the front they are about 25 inches tall and the 275/60/15 are 29.5 inches tall - the tims are 7's on the front and 8's on the rear. I posted a pic of mine when it was still brown. Still in b/shop getting transformed into the clone of my rusty org GT/.

That is one nice looking ride, you have to post a pic after you get it repainted. I like the chrome trim on your tailight panel!

Got 15" Magnum 500s 7 inch in front, 8 inch in rear.

Have 235/60 in front and 255/60 in rear. Need a small spacer in rear as the offset of the wheels is awful close to the leaf. The fronts will rub barely if cranked all the way.

Sweet!! Those Magnum 500 wheels look great. Those are bigger tires than I thought could fit in the wheel well.
