    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    no ones gonna make a pre bent exaust for a maverick unless its called a mustang. but you SOL no one makes one for a maverick never the less for a maverick 4door with I6

    you'll have to go to the muffer shop and have somone buildone for you.

    you can buy pre bent mandels but you still need to have someone weld them up.

    good luck

    Midas still does custom bending for exhaust. I took my Grabber 200 cu in & dualed it out with turbo mufflers (item #908)(lifetime warranty) & chrome turn downs. Sounds like a V-8 when it is at idle. I work at Midas, so when I did it, I was experimenting. I'm going to do my other 200 cu in also. I was impressed with the way it sounded. So, was everyone else in the shop. They didn't think it would sound good, tried to talk me out of it. Glad I didn't listen to them. If you want to keep it stock, they can do that also. They still have access to the Maverick/Comet stock mufflers (lifetime warranty).

    A friend of mine does some exhaust bending, but I figured if I could buy one "off the shelf" it would save me from trailering it down to his shop.

    What brand was that turbo muffler?

    Mercurycruizers;
    Is that part number (#908) a Midas part number?

    I fixed it myself:bananaman :bananaman :bananaman . After really looking at the pipes, I found that the "exhaust manifold doughnut" was bad, and I had a new one in the garage.:cool: So it took me about 1hr. (mostly waiting for the PB Blaster to work). Now its nice a quiet. :) OK next thing is on the list is the heater core:( Russ

    awwww i was just givin russ a rough time. actually, AAA here in jersey sends flatbeds! russ you can get a core at advance auto parts pretty cheap. i also got one for my other mav from rockauto.com. since everything you touch turns to s--- weather wise, i'd recommend getting that core in a hurry! then we are assured of a nice winter. not like the last one! matter of fact, i'll even send you the hose clamps! (y)

    Uh, we have flatbeds here, too. They're not exclusive to NJ.:slap:

    Hey, Russ.. if you ever decide to have exhaust work, there's a place in Butler, Irapino's, that does all kinds of work, including custom. He has a good rep and isn't outrageous in cost.

    Once upon a time I bought an early Mustang pre-bent kit for my Mav. The only problem I had was with the tailpipes. The last angle wasn't quite right, so I cut part way through, bent to the angle I needed, then welded them back up. Ran those pipes for a lot of years.
